EPALE – Electronic Platform for Adult Learning in Europe

EPALE -Electronic Platform for Adult Learning in Europe- is a platform in 24 European languages hosting the community of adult learning professionals, including teachers and adult educators, guidance and support staff, researchers, academics and policy makers.

EPALE’s objective is the promotion of more and better learning opportunities and support for adult learning professions. Thanks to this platform, its members can get in touch and share expertise, good practices and training opportunities with colleagues from all over Europe through the site’s multiple contents and tools: blogs, news, resources, forums, thematic groups and the partner search tool.

Lai-momo is in charge, on behalf of the European Commission and together with the Romanian company Tremend, of the Central Support Service to the National Supports of each country. Our cooperative coordinates and provides support to the 38 Erasmus+ National Agencies including, for Italy, INDIRE (Istituto Nazionale di Documentazione, Innovazione e Ricerca Educativa), a body of the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research, a point of reference for educational research in Italy.

Lai-momo is responsible for the editorial management of the content and moderation of the site, ensuring the reliability and quality of the information presented on the platform. We are also responsible for the online promotion of the platform through social channels (Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter).

The European institutions in recent years have shown increasing attention and sensitivity to sustainable development, considering lifelong learning and skills enhancement as key elements for sustainable and inclusive growth, necessary to respond to the major issues of our time.

Lai-momo’s activities have always been geared towards building a more equitable, sustainable and inclusive society. Our commitment to EPALE reinforces this mission, leading us to work in particular on the educational and capacity-building front.
